Although the Cappuccino production run of six years was minimal, it proved to be a popular high performance little sports car, and was designed initially to comply with lower tax and insurance in Japan. The Cappuccino has a turbo charged three-cylinder 657cc engine, and together with its dimensions and mid-engine and rear-wheel drive, this practical sports car ticked all the boxes with the stringent Kei Car regulations. Although it ceased production in 1997, it competed well with similar small sports cars of the era.

This example is a rarity in that it was built specifically for the UK market and shipped directly here after manufacture. It has had just five owners, three of which were from the same family, and the current lady custodian has enjoyed the sports car since 2009. The baby sports car is described as being in very good condition throughout and has clearly been well-cared for; if one were to find fault, there is some evidence of non-serious minor blistering to both rear wheel arches, and the right-hand flitch panel would benefit from a small repair, although we are informed that it has been repaired on the underside.

There are no known faults with the mechanics and it is equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system. The black leather interior is unmarked and the Suzuki is fitted with a custom-made chrome roll-over bar.

The well-designed motor car has an aluminium bonnet, boot lid and roof panels; the latter can be easily removed and stowed in the boot compartment to allow for the hood supplied to be fitted. If the new owner so wishes, a Targa top could also be used. M802 BEU sits on its original alloy wheels and correct size tyres.

The history file contains the original handbooks and leather wallet, a welcome letter from Suzuki GB Ltd, MOT test certificates dating from 1999, the original leather key fob and the V5C registration certificate.
