Italian car from new; recently serviced by Carrozzeria Sport Cars

Chassis number 11981 was completed by the factory in April 1969 as one of just 150 365 GTCs ever built. Finished in Blue Ribot (2.443.631) over a Beige (VM 3218) interior, it was built to European specifications with instruments in kilometers and fitted with air conditioning. The car was originally registered on Vicenza license plates VI 167213 and sold new through the official Ferrari Dealer Dino Ravasio and Sons in Verona to Mrs Franca Brunetto of Vicenza. Mrs Brunetto only kept the car for two years before selling it to its second owner in Padova in September 1971.
The third owner, the previous custodian’s father, purchased the car in May of 1972, keeping the car until February of 1974 to a resident of Venice. Over the course of the next 30 years, the car remained with a handful of owners in Northern Italy, remaining in the district of Treviso, registered on plates TV 343000. It was acquired by the previous owner, the same family of the car’s third owner, in 2006 and has remained in their possession ever since. Prior to sale, the 365 GTC was shipped to the Ferrari specialists at Carrozzeria Sport Cars to be fully serviced. Importantly, the car still retains its original, matching-numbers engine.
With only 150 examples produced, the 365 GTC is one of the rarest Ferraris of its era, and a wonderful touring car in all regards. As an Italian car from new, finished in its original colour combination and retaining its original engine, chassis 11981 is truly a wonderful example. Fresh from a recent service and ready to return to the road, this would be a remarkable acquisition for the Italian-based Ferrari collector.
