The Mercedes-Benz W126 the a series of S-Class automobile manufactured by Mercedes-Benz between 1979 and 1992. Premiering in September 1979 as the successor to the W116 line, the W126 was the second generation to officially bear that prestigious designation, an abbreviation for the German Sonderklasse or special class. It introduced many Mercedes-Benz safety innovations, including the first seatbelt pretensioners.
This two private owner car was imported into the UK from South Africa by the 1st owner in 1986. The car comes with an excellent history file including all old MOT's and tax discs. there are also lots of invoices for monies spent on servicing and repair. There is the original South African new car sales invoice showing the first owner details which match the log book.
The bodywork is described as being in good condition with no rust, although some of the panels have started to fade with age. The interior is in cream leather, the front seats are showing signs of age, and the passengers side seat base has a split in the middle.
The car is described as driving very well and to start first time, everytime, with no faults.
