1969 Aston Martin DBS6 finished in Champagne with contrasting black hide interior and Wilton carpets throughout. This car was sold by us 6 years ago to a French gentleman living in Toulon who has covered only minimal mileage during his ownership. He has several other British classics, all of which are convertible cars, more suited than the Aston to the glorious climate of the south of France. With this car is a considerable history file giving details of an earlier restoration together with photographic evidence of a complete engine rebuild. On driving this car back to the UK, the engine ran very smoothly and held excellent oil pressure, coupled with running at makers oil and water temperature for the entire journey. The engine bay is very tidy but not in show condition and on a full inspection of the chassis it is evident that the previous restorer was an expert in his field. We are now in the process of carrying out a full service and an overhaul of the front suspension and the car will be ready later this week. We must stress that this is a very presentable and collectable Aston that drives extremely well and will benefit from further cosmetic improvement. It is a route into classic Aston ownership at a reasonable cost and a model that we consider will continue to appreciate. Very safe money at £99,950 Please enquire for more details.
