This rare lefthand drive Bentley S3 was bought new by J. Kemp Waldie from Canada, heir of John Waldie & Sons, the Victoria Harbour Lumber Company. After some other Canadian owners it was shipped to the Netherlands in 2008 and has been there ever since. The car is originally finished in Shell grey with a blue interior and has still its original colour scheme. Parts of the leather of the rear seats have been replaced, the other parts are still in good original condition. It is provided with electric windows and plain sundym glass throughout, that gives the car a nice presence.
The Bentley S3 has been produced 1286 times. Only 167 of these cars are lefthand drive, making this great example a rare and desirable car.
This car has got a main service. Furthermore the following parts were fitted and maintenance was done: brake cylinders front rebuilt, brake cylinders rear rebuilt, all brake hoses replaced, contact-breaker points replaced, condenser replaced, rotor replaced, distributor cap replaced, drive shaft rubber socket of gearbox replaced, oil-pressure transmitter replaced, carburetters overhauled.
