1963 MG MGB Roadster

1963 MGB FIA Race car finished in Tartan red with current FIA papers. First Registered on the 17th of October 1963 Chassis number GHN3-21208 is an early pull door handle car which we understand was converted into a race car using a Heritage body shell some 20 years ago. We understand that the works were carried out on behalf of the MG Enthusiasts Club Magazine.  It was acquired about 8 years ago by lady racing driver Susan Surtees who shared the car with her daughter at MG and Aston Martin Owners Club events with some success. The car has been prepared to a high standard and can be used for race or Rally events. It sits on Minilite style wheels shod with Dunlop L race tyres and the specification includes a 45DCOE Weber carburettor, electric cooling fans, oil cooler and factory hard top. It also comes with a quantity of spares. An ideal first race car and could be very competitive in the right hands £26,950
