Reluctantly now for sale, is my GT3 Comfort MK1. One of just 106 UK RHD officially imported out of a total worldwide production run of just 1858 (1550 LHD). As a classic car collector and enthusiast, this is without doubt a future classic which is sure to appreciate over time. For those that don't know, the GT3 has a 3.6 litre powerplant, a hand assembled GT1 engine re-engineered for mass production. Inside the specially prepared block are 6 unique pistons with lightweight titanium connecting-rods and a finely balanced crankshaft in eight main bearings. The crankshaft, connecting rods and main bearing journals are all Plasma-Nitride hardened. All this adds up to an immensely strong engine which although limited to 7800rpm for road use will apparently rev to 9000rpm quite safely.
This particular low mileage example has been my personal car for the last 2 years and it's now time for someone else to have some fun. Spec and history as follows:
Silver with black leather racing buckets, a/c, front and side airbags, electric windows, ABS, dual mass clutch, alarm/immobiliser, multidisk CD, 6 speed, the Comfort is not only devastatingly quick but comfortable too.
Full Service History to include two large binders containing virtualy every invoice from new. New complete set of tyres fitted around 2k miles ago, recent major service, suspension overhaul and new sports exhaust (dyno tested to improve performance by 57 BHP). Circa. 44k miles. At this price, a genuine bargain
